Y’all it’s been a busy season around here lately and I’ve dropped the ball on updating ye ole blog. Gonna try to get back into the habit though!
Are you all getting pumped about the holiday season? For us, it starts with Halloween and then we go into Thanksgiving and, of course, finish out with Christmas and New Years. We are already decorated and ready for Halloween - no shame over here.

Celebrating the city that I love as we continue to deal with a flood we won’t soon forget. This neon sign has been a favorite of mine since I was a little boy. The Desert Hills Motel is located on historic Route 66 and is an iconic landmark.
I guess this is becoming a series. 😊 This was always my favorite donut shop growing up in Tulsa, with that classic mid century neon sign out front. It fell into disrepair over time but, thankfully, @livileesdonuts ‘s took over the location, refurbished the sign and renovated the shop. We still stop in often for donuts. 🍩
My life has been shaped by the incredibly strong, giving and brilliant women around me. I’m so thankful for all of them; gonna celebrate them today. 💃

When you’re spending the day at home with a sleepy and sick little guy, you get some extra time to sit around and doodle. These are a few of my favorite things. :)
Some jeans, a Steven Universe tee, a belt, my sketchbook, my pouch of sketching supplies and my Apple Watch. All things that I love.
